# Stacker Fields

Stacker Fields allow you to create fields on Stacker that are not part of your original database. Stacker fields do not sync with the original data source and can be edited in Stacker by all users.

### Create a new Stacker Field

1. Click **Manage fields and data**
2. Go to the table you want to add the field
3. Select **Fields**
4. Select **+Add Fields**
5. Add a name and choose the field type
6. Select **Create Field**
7. Delete field by using the trash icon next to the field

Stacker Fields will not show the syncing icon.
