# Detail: Banner Widget

On the Detail layout, you can show fixed content with the Banner widget. You can add:

* A heading
* Text
* A button

## Enable Banner Widget

1. Go to Detail Layout
2. Click **Edit Layout**
3. Drag the **Banner Widget** onto the page

## Customize the Banner Widget

The banner widget supports [conditional visibility](https://support.stackerhq.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409598237075-Using-conditional-visibility-in-your-app), so you can show the banner only when you need to.

You can also:

* Use rich text in the description section
* Center content
* Set a button URL
* Set the button Label
* Choose whether the URL will open in a new tab
