# Detail: Related Record List

Use a related record list to display a list of linked records from a different table. You will need to have **multi-record linked fields** for the widget to show options.

## Enable Related Record List

1. Go to a Detail layout
2. Click **Edit Layout**
3. Select the **Related Record List** widget
4. Choose the linked field from the dropdown

For example, in our Property app, we use a related record from our Sales table to our Client's table to show how many clients are interested in a particular property.

## Create New Records

If a related record list supports creating new records, you will see a checkbox that lets you **Allow creating new records from this list**.

#### Troubleshooting

If you do not see any options, please make sure that:

* The field is a multi-linked field on Airtable or Stacker.<br>

* The linked field is enabled on both the related list table and the table you're adding the list on.
