# Use an Action Button

After you create an Action button you can now display it on your list layouts.

On a Table Layout, show your button in the dropdown menu or as a hovering button. Card and Board layouts can have an action button in the footer of the card or in the dropdown menu. 

### Turn on Action button

1. 2. Select **Actions**&#x20;
3. Select how you want to display your button: **Dropdown** or **Button**
4. Toggle on the button
5. (optional) Set conditional visibility
