After you create an Action button you can now display it on your list layouts.
On a Table Layout, show your button in the dropdown menu or as a hovering button. Card and Board layouts can have an action button in the footer of the card or in the dropdown menu.
Turn on Action button
Open the Edit Layout Panel
Select Actions
Select how you want to display your button: Dropdown or Button
