# Detail: Record Header

With the Record header feature, you can choose which field will show as a header. If you'd like to add more information, you can also add a profile image and a subheading.

## Enable Record Header

1. Click **Edit Layout** on [Detail Layout](https://docs.stackerhq.com/stacker-classic/layout-types/detail-layout)
2. Click **Record Header**

## Record Header Options

* Change the header field. The default is always the primary field.
* Choose a subheading. Use if you'd like to make more information visible at a glance
* Select a profile image field. Use when you need a visual aid.
