List: Sort

Sort changes the order of your records in the List layout. You can sort alphabetically by a field's name, with ascending or descending values. We recommend only sorting by text or number fields.

Enable Sort

1. Go to a List layout page

2. Click Edit Layout

3. Click Sort

4. Choose a field to sort by

5. Select Ascending/Descending

6. Click Save Layout

When you preview as a user and sorting is not working, please make sure the user has permission to read the sorting field.
