# Separating fields into sections

Add sections to your field block in the Detail layout to make it easier for your users to understand the context of the information on display.

## Add Sections

1. Click **Edit Layout**
2. Drag a field container onto the layout
3. Scroll to the end of the field section and click **Section**
4. Drag and drop the **Section** between the field you want to section off
5. Hover over the **Section** until a pencil appears to edit
6. Add in a label and description for context
