Click on the Youtube video you want to embed 2. You can use any link format to embed the video Examples of links are listed below: ### How to use the embed link Once you have the embed URL, there are two ways you can use this in your layout, either by adding this into a field on your datasource or pasting this directly into the embed widget. 1. Click in [detail layout](/stacker-classic/layout-types/detail-layout.md) 2. Click **Edit Layout** 3. Drag embed widget into the layout 4. Select [from field](/stacker-classic/layout-types/detail-layout/detail-widgets/detail-embed-widget/embedding-content-on-a-detail-page.md#h_01ga3zt5fmfb0m4dret7jeae4m) (if the embed URL has been added to the base) 5. Select [from URL](/stacker-classic/layout-types/detail-layout/detail-widgets/detail-embed-widget/embedding-content-on-a-detail-page.md#h_01ga3ztf8dh1g6xbg9a89zpe6k) (if you want to paste the URL directly into Stacker) 6. Choose a title 7.
